Patterns, Reasoning and Problem Solving Unit 1 Explore the foundations of algebra through hands-on problem solving, creative building, drawing, and interactive programming. Students build confidence with numbers, fractions, ratios, and early algebraic thinking while learning how to reason step-by-step and clearly explain their thinking. Concepts are reinforced through paper-and-pencil work, builds with LEGO and other materials, and Scratch programming projects that turn abstract ideas into interactive simulations. This course builds the essential bridge between arithmetic and algebra by developing strong number sense, pattern recognition, and logical problem-solving skills. Pre-Req - Student should have fluency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Basic understanding of fractions, decimals, and percentages.
