Online Intro to Python: Game Design

Join me online as we create our own fun and interactive video games while learning the foundations of Python programming. Students begin by designing games using block-based coding in Microsoft MakeCode Arcade, then gradually transition into reading and editing the same projects in Python. This approach builds confidence by connecting familiar visual blocks to real text-based code. Along the way, students learn core programming concepts such as syntax, variables, conditionals, loops, and scripts. By the end of the course, students will be able to design, modify, and expand simple games using real Python code.
