Lego® Engineering: Influential Engineers

Create a wave machine inspired by Hertha Ayrton's discoveries in fluid dynamics, build automatic elevator doors invented by Alexander Miles, and recreate the Ingenuity Helicopter designed by MiMi Aung to fly on the surface of Mars! In this class we will explore the work of various influential engineers throughout history and better understand the challenges they faced. Connect with friends as we build, test and play with projects that teach fundamental concepts in engineering and physics. Students will be encouraged to use their imagination and follow their curiosity as they personalize each project.

Cancellation Policy

  • We can provide a full refund (minus any service charges) if we get notice of cancellation at least one week prior to the start date of the class.

  • If you need to cancel less than a week before the start date:

    • We will do our best to fill the spot with another student.  

    • If we are able to fill the spot, we can provide a full refund (minus any service charges).  

    • If we cannot fill the spot, the family is responsible to pay the class fees.
