Godot Programming: Adventure Games

Class Info

Calling all advanced programmers! Learn how to code games in Godot - a free, open-sourced professional game engine that uses a text-based programming language similar to Python. We will create a series of adventure-based mini-games as we learn how to design worlds, create characters, code movement and gather items. Have fun and apply your creativity as we learn important fundamentals in the art of coding and game design! Basic proficiency with block-based programming logic (either through LEGO® robotics or Scratch) is required. Please check with me if you are not sure if your child is ready for this class.

Cancellation Policy

  • We can provide a full refund (minus any service charges) if we get notice of cancellation at least two weeks before the start date of the class.

  • If you need to cancel less than two weeks before the start date:

    • We will do our best to fill the spot with another student.  

    • If we are able to fill the spot, we can provide a full refund (minus any service charges).  

    • If we cannot fill the spot, the family is responsible to pay the class fees.
